Had a little wedding craft party this weekend: Ladies (and their daughters) from different times of my life got to meet each other before the wedding, and I got help making some of those mass production type projects. Everyone brought a snack to share (and there was some good, good stuff). Lots of fun – I highly recommend it – I also highly recommend not being the hostess with a broken foot. Just a hint. Thanks to everyone! And thanks to The Gentleman who played host perfectly without having to pick up a single craft! And I was a bit out of it and didn’t take many pictures… I guess we’ll just have to wait and see the final outcome. We’re six and half weeks away!
So invites some friends. Have everyone bring scissors and a treat. (Don’t break your foot). Have some projects lined up – some streamers, make some cookie dough for favors, cut paper for bunting flags, stamp some napkins and tags. Set up some tables and put on a good pandora station. And if you’re fortunate – have your fiance there to make sure everything runs smoothly (see reason above). And if you’re really lucky, you’ll have friends who tell you there’s an easier way to cut out stars for decor – and then drop off their cricut for you to use. Lucky gal here.
