We had the most, loveliest, spring weekend. (It’s almost the end of my week filled with overtime, and I’m still dreaming about it.)
I did my nails. Savannah supervised.
We bought a bistro table for the sun porch. Lovely coffee and sandwiches have been consumed on it.
I got our guest book in the mail. We bought coffee, soap and our wedding bands.
I was reminded that we can thrive in adverse conditions.
We went on an impromptu date night and had the best chowder, artichoke dip and caesar salad. And I got caught sneaking a picture. Whoops.
Lewis tried to help walk the dogs. Comedy.
I have been nursing an injured foot. It is getting back to normal! There is hope for it yet.
Mother’s Day came. Market happened. We ate tamales.
Rhubarb ginger cake was made and delivered to the Grandparents. We kept one and have been watching it disappear.
We drank coffee and ate lunch at our lovely new table.
And there was that lovely shrimp and avocado salad. Still dreaming about it.
Still dreaming about a lovely weekend.
