A warm day in Februrary. A quick, breeze free trip to the jetty.
The Pacific Ocean on one side and the Columbia River on the other. Waves on both.
Sunshine and bit of warm enjoyed by the hounds, The Gentleman and myself.
A great gift.
And as an extra special surprise: there was a snowy owl! A snowy owl at Fort Stevens! Apparently they were flushed out of Alaska and have settled down here for a bit. There are five total – but we saw one (with binoculars) a long, long way away – and it looked like a rock, with a head that swiveled. Super cool. A bird checked off my life list. Super amazing day!
Lovely photos!!
Thanks, Mary!!
